i've been coming to kobe's every few months for years because i love the food and the experience but my last nights visit was easily my worst. (our chef was eren yeagar) i ordered extra noodles and my boyfriend ordered extra rice. somehow i got the smallest portion of rice at the table and he got the second smallest, even though he was the one who ordered extra. my portion looked like it would be a kids menu portion. the guy next to us who didn't order extra at all got double what either of us had. then when the chef came around giving the leftover rice to the whole table, he skipped both of us even though my boyfriend asked for more multiple times. the noodles were so aggravating too. i ordered the extra noodles so why was my boyfriend's portion bigger than mine? normally when i order extra it takes up the whole plate. i was just so disappointed. but the yum yum sauce refill was a whole thing, we had to ask over and over like he wasn't planning on refilling it at all. people around us would ask too and he'd just completely ignore them. the pictures i'm including were taken before i even touched my plate because i was just annoyed. the one good thing was our waitress, she was so

Very good hibachi restaurant with amazing food and a professional chef. I went there for my birthday, but the experience was tarnished by the long wait after we were seated. We ordered sushi first, and it took forever to arrive—I eventually had to ask about it. After waiting about 40 minutes for our main order, I had to go to the reception to ask what was going on. This unnecessary delay really dampened my birthday. On the bright side, the chef was fantastic and the show was great, which made things a bit better, but the damage was already done. I’d recommend it for the food quality, but the service needs to be much faster.

I’m going to share 3 of my experiences I’ve had here. 1. I went for the hibachi table. Noticed a sign that they were short staffed and seems to have been short staffed for some time now. Hibachi was fun and the food came out very good and as expected. The chef was Papi Chulo and he was really fun and interactive. I’d recommend him. 2. I ordered takeout and picked up. My food this time, the rice was really greasy. That’s the only complaint. 3. I ordered Uber Eats delivery. I had a California roll and it was decent. There was wayyy too much rice on the roll. My steak hibachi came out good and as expected this time. However, I paid extra to substitute the noodles for extra rice and they didn’t do the substitution. That makes me a bit annoyed when you pay extra and you don’t get it exactly as you want. This location is decent as far as food goes but it’s not the best location I’ve been to.

Fun place for sure. You can guarantee there’s at least one birthday person at each grill table thingie. Our chef was very funny and entertaining, our server most attentive. I had tuna which was seared perfectly. Overall high quality ingredients. I don’t eat beef but my friend’s ribeye looked very impressive. Be sure that your entire party is on time as seating & timing are critical. Overall a safe bet for a large party. I fasted the next day…it was a definite carb fest! I was eating so enthusiastically that I had to borrow some of my friend’s photos…she’s a better photographer anyway!
